Great Blogging Tips for Newbies!

Have you ever felt that it’s hard to cram all your messages into 140 characters?
Here are a few tips on how you can make the most of of those 140 characters you get to use.

1. Use acronyms. Use BRB, LOL, TTYL, etc to minimize the characters you need to type.
2. Shorten the URL. TinyURL.com, Is.gd and Xr.com are some examples of site that you can use to shorten your URL.
3. Use special symbols. Twitter can let you insert smilies, heart and other symbols to enhance your tweet. Check out Twitterkeys for a list of symbol codes.
4. Keep your message simple. Avoid from u sing long bombastic word so that your readers can understand better.

1. Extract WordPress 2.8’s zip file (wordpress-2.8.zip) that you have downloaded.

2. Backup your database and old files before you start.
3. Upload all files that you have unzipped except wp-content because wp-content is where all your plugins and themes are stored.
4. After finishing upload, navigate to upgrade.php to complete installation.

Removing IE8 on Windows XP:

1. Click the Start Button and select Control Panel.
2. Select Add or Remove Programs.
3. Find and select Windows Internet Explorer 8 from the list of programs.
4. Click the Remove button.
5. Restart your computer after it has been uninstalled.

Removing IE8 on Windows Vista:

1. Click the Start Button and select Control Panel.
2. Select Programs (Programs and Features if you’re using Classic View).
3. Select View installed updates (It’s under the Tasks column if you’re using Classic View).
4. Find and select Windows Internet Explorer 8 from the list of updates.
5. Click the Uninstall button at the top of the list.
6. Restart your computer after it has been uninstalled.
