How to Verify Your Site on Google Webmaster Tools

- Go to http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/.
- Sign in to your existing Google account. If you do not have one, register for it.
- Add your site to the dashboard.
- Click on ‘Verify your site’.
- Choose ‘Add a meta tag’ as verification method.
- Copy the verification code and paste it just after the tag. Important! Please take note that some blogging sites do not accept meta tag in form. If so, use instead. I am using in the screenshot below.
Paste the verification code to your site
- You will be redirected to a confirmation page after clicking ‘Verify’.
